Sen was a member of the BAFA board between 1989 and 1996. Initially he was the secretary and did all the final editing for the BAFA newsletter. Currently he does occasional editing. Born in Aotearoa / New Zealand, he moved to the Netherlands with his wife, Sonja van Kerkhoff, in 1989. He co-raises their two children, Toroa and Tamatea. He published three books of poetry, and has degrees in English Literature (Otago), and Islamic Studies (Leiden). Currently he working on a phD in the area of Bahá'í theology and makes art and writes articles on Bahá'í related topics in his spare time. |
