Baháí Council for England
Administration Assistant required
The Baháí Council for England has recently decided that to meet its ever-increasing responsibilities, additional administrative assistance is now needed in the form of a part-time paid position, and is therefore currently looking for a believer who may be able to take up such a post. The role is intended to provide general secretarial and administrative support to the Council, and knowledge of the principles of Baháí administration is therefore important.
The post is part-time, ideally half-time and may evolve into a full-time position in the future. The job could be carried out from home, in which case equipment would be provided. Salary details are to be discussed.
If you are interested please send 3 copies of your CV or an outline of relevant experience, by Friday 21st January to Mrs Tiffani Razavi, (address above).
"The English Baháí"
By now, all those in England will have received the wonderful second edition of "The English Baháí", the newsletter of the Baháí Council for England. Brought out in stunning colour, at no additional cost, it is truly a significant milestone in the development of a unique and cohesive English Baháí identity, and it needs input from YOU the community to make it even better.
Its been a busy Centenary 19 months ...
The glorious Centenary Year (or 19 months as it turned out) has finally ended. Throughout England, many strides were taken by the opportunity afforded to forge or develop links with local media, to further the External Affairs and proclamation work of the Faith, and not least of all, for the Community as a whole to reflect on the progress made by our Beloved Faith in the last 100 years. Those were all causes for celebration indeed! In addition, at the behest of the National Spiritual Assembly, several sub-regional Centenary Celebrations were organised by the Council - in London and the South-East, Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham.
