Young People Day
Over 70 took part in Young People Day in Cwmcarn Forest Drive on 23rd
July, (photo above). There was a barbeque, devotional, singing and sport and
team activities. Many friends of Bahá'ís who are coming along to the monthly
events organised in this area are
bringing their families to join in the fun and fellowship too.
As we read in the Ridván message 157, "An atmosphere needs to be
maintained in which children feel that they belong to the community and share
its purpose. They must lovingly but insistently be guided to live up to Bahá'í
standards, to study and teach the Cause in ways that are suited to their
circumstances..." We feel these events are bringing that atmosphere to our
children and young people!
Money for the Fund!!
During Sidcot summer school's funday George Maund and Iman Fadaei raised
Ł10 for the National Fund with their "mystic massages". Jack Symes,
pictured here with the advertising poster, encouraged the friends to stop by
for a quick shoulder rub and donate some cash.
School's out in Barnet
The children at the Thomas Breakwell School in Barnet enjoyed an end of
term celebration in July. They made party hats and sat quietly while Azita
Mehdinejad played the violin for everyone.
