Passing of Isabel Pavon de Calderon

The National Spiritual Assembly of Ecuador is deeply saddened by the tragic and unexpected death of the "indefatigable high-spirited maidservant of Bahá'u'lláh, Isabel Pavon de Calderon. She died in a traffic accident Thursday morning, March 30, in Ibarra, Ecuador. Services will be held Friday at 15:00 at the Amatu'l-Baha Ruhiyyih Khanum Institute in Otavalo.
In the message received from the Universal House of Justice it says, in part, "Her long years of teaching and administrative service, including membership on the National Spiritual Assembly of Ecuador and the Continental Board of Counsellors in the Americas, are warmly remembered."
