The Philadelphia Baha'i Youth Workshop will perform at 10 a.m. Sunday at
the Marietta Baha'i Center.
The performance at the center, 167 W. Market St., will feature skits about
combating racism, recognizing the unity of religion and recalling the
sacrifices of the early Baha'is, according to a spokesman for the Spiritual
Assembly of the Baha'is of Lancaster.
It will include interpretive dance movements.
The event falls on the Baha'i holy day that honors the birth of Baha'u'llah,
the Persian prophet-founder of the faith.
Baha'u'llah's principles included eliminating prejudice and accepting that
all religions have a common foundation and that there is a need for global
cooperation.
