Program at library to honor King's life

ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE

The Central Arkansas Baha'i community will celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a program today at 2 p.m. in the Darragh Center Auditorium in the Little Rock Main Library at 100 Rock St.

The program, titled "Keeping the Dream Alive: Solutions for Racial Harmony," will include brief speeches by Trudie Kibbe Reed, president of Philander Smith College; Little Rock Vice Mayor B.J. Wyrick; Vince Bailey, owner-president of ConVincing Productions; and Maurice Lantier, member of the Little Rock Baha'i community.

Also featured will be music and dramatic performances. Refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
