The
184th anniversary of the birth of BahA!'u'llA!h, the prophet and founder
of the BahA!'A faith, will be observed beginning at sundown on Sunday,
Nov. 11. BahA!'As of the Knoxville area meet at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the
Palisades Club House on the corner of Gleason and Gallaher View roads.
Following a potluck dinner, there will be a program of prayers,
readings and stories related to the life and teachings of BahA!'u'llA!h.
A series of public informational meetings on the BahA!'A faith will
be from 8 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15; from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov.
18, at the Farragut Town Hall; and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at
the West Knoxville Library, 6800 Kingston Pike.
Erica Toussant of the national BahA!'A council will visit Knoxville
during the weekend of Nov. 17 to meet with area BahA!'As. A program will
begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Palisades Club House in West
Knoxville. A Sunday program will be at 10 a.m. at the downtown YWCA, 420
Clinch Ave. at Walnut Street.
