An Evening Of Black History" Is Planned For Tonight

"An Evening of Black History," featuring a slide presentation and a panel discussion, will be at 7 tonight in the AFLAC Building, 9805 Foley Drive, Centreville.

The presentation was originally put together for the first Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration in the state of Hawaii, and includes photos of King's career.

The topic of the panel discussion is "Where Do We Go From Here?" Panelists include Centreville Mayor Frankie Seaberry, East St. Louis Senior High principal Fonzy Coleman and Rodney Lewis, president of Community Investment Group of Illinois.

The free event sponsored by Bahai of Belleville and Troy is open to the public.
