Interdenominational Concert Aids Food Bank
"God's Children in Concert," an interdenominational celebration of song and dance, will feature representatives of 10 churches,
synagogues and other religious organizations in a May 5 performance at Congregation B'nai Israel in Boca Raton.
The concert features participants from Congregation B'nai Israel, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, First United Methodist
Church, the Florida Hindu Community, the Inner City Youth, "Getting There Inc." Multicultural Gospel Choir, St. David Armenian
School, St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, St. John the Evangelist, St. Paul Lutheran Church and the South Florida Baha'i Youth
Workshop.
The public is invited and admission to the 6:30 p.m. concert is free, but audience members are encouraged to bring a can of
non- perishable food for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
The event is co-sponsored by the Kantor Family Center for Justice at Congregation B'nai Israel and the Community Interfaith
Coalition.
