Review: What Can I Do With My Heart

Diverse Attractions (venue 11)

This whimsical piece will suit if you are interested in early 20th-century US society tittle-tattle, the western growth of the Baha'i faith, and, being generous, tension between the colliding worlds of the occident and orient.

Writer/performer Susan Hegarty is polished as Juliet , a young society girl who visits Paris and finds the Persian faith. Hegarty does her utmost to wring drama from her adaptation of Juliet's diaries of this time. But it just ain't there.

5:30pm, today. Runs ends today.
