New Delhi, August 29
Delhi Development Authority will develop a spiritual park in the capital to provide landscape suitable for meditation and enhancing
holistic spiritual feeling.
The Aastha Kunj, spread over 200 acres, would be developed in Nehru Place in the environs surrounded by the Baha'i Lotus Temple,
the ISKCON temple and the Kalkaji temple, a Raj Niwas release said on Thursday.
The project is visualised as a "landscape charged with positive energy to recharge the urban dweller in mind, body and spirit," it
said.
The project also aims at providing surroundings of restful greenery and a place for creative enjoyment, art exhibits and sculptures
as well as alternative therapies and health food.
Reviewing the landscape designs Delhi Lt Governor Vijai Kapoor asked the DDA "to undertake minimum construction activity and
preserve the original landscape."
