Robinson pays her respects in Geneva
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mrs Mary Robinson, was among the dignitaries who paid their respects to the victims of
the September 11th attacks at a ceremony in Geneva. The attacks focused international opinion on the need for an effective
coalition against terrorism, Mrs Robinson said. She was speaking on her final day in office.
The ceremony was also attended by the Swiss Interior Minister, Ms Ruth Dreifuss, as well as leaders of Geneva's Protestant,
Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Orthodox, Buddhist, Shinto and Bahai communities.
