150th anniversary of Baha'u'llah in the Siyah-Chal
The Baha'is of New York have created an uplifting, beautiful presentation on the 150th anniversary of the incarceration of Baha'u'llah
in the Siyah-Chal (Black-Pit), Tehran. In 1852 Bahá'u'lláh was imprisoned for four months in an underground prison in Tehran known as the
Siyah-Chal. It was there, through a vision of a Maid of Heaven, that He first received the revelation that He was the One promised by the Báb.
The presentation uses the words of Baha'u'llah describing the experience of the dungeon of Siyah-Chal.
