Bahais plan World Religion Day

The Bahai community of Cupertino will celebrate World Religion Day on Jan. 19 with its sixth annual interfaith celebration from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Quinlan Community Center. The day is celebrated worldwide to help ``foster the establishment of interfaith understanding'' according to the event coordinators who run the Web site www.worldreligionday.com.

The Cupertino program will be attended by religious and civic leaders from many traditions. Those who would like to participate by presenting a reading, chant or prayer, or for more information, call (408) 446-5799 or visit thunder6.cwihosting.com/~quaddsol/boc/.
