Karma and yoga

World renowned spiritual philosopher and author Ram Dass will speak on "Karma Yoga: Living Our Lives as a Path to God" at 2 p.m. April 27 at the Masonic Auditorium, 3615 Euclid Ave. His presentation will include chanting by Krishna Das, a devotee of Bahkti Yoga, the yoga of devotion. Bahais honored

The Ohio Bicentennial Commission's Advisory Council on Religious Experience in Ohio will honor the Bahai faith with a historical marker at 3 p.m. Monday at East 14th Street and Euclid Avenue. The marker recognizes the visit of Abdu'l-Baha, son of Baha'u'llah, the prophet-founder of the Bahai faith, to Cleveland in 1912. After the dedication, the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Cleveland will have a reception at 4 p.m. at Mather Mansion at Cleveland State University, 2605 Euclid Ave.

Renewing faith

Polka Mass

Organ concert

Peace potluck

A "Gathering for Peace Potluck" will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin Circle Christian Church, 1688 Fulton Road. There also will be craft activities for children and adults, a storyteller and drummer. The evening will include creation of a milagro exhibit, a Latin American tradition, calling for the healing from war and for a peaceful future. Health workshop

Among the workshops are "Searching for Tolerance in an Intolerant Society: A Look at Forced and Voluntary Immigration in America," led by the Rev. Antique Bible exhibit

An exhibit of antique Bibles is on display through May 23 at the Falls Village Retirement Community, 330 Broadway East. It includes Bibles in various languages dating as far back as 1804, along with engraved wood block illustrations. The Bibles are from the collection of Joseph Francus. Earth, arts program

Sacred Space will present a program, "Earth Enchantment: An Emerging Planetary Consciousness," May 2-4 on the grounds of Angel House Center for Creative Life Changes, 14217 Mill Hollow Lane. It will include environmental displays, workshops, speakers, eco-art for children, hikes, meditations in nature and dances of peace.
