The Bahais of Upland held their eighth annual teachers appreciation reception recently and among the approximately 30 teachers honored were:

Martha Romero, a private tutor, Upland

Karen Agruder, music teacher, Rancho Cucamonga

Phillip Clarke, piano teacher at Claremont Community School of Music

Jennie Ly, preschool teacher at St. Mark's in Upland

Lenora Lees, preschool teacher at St. Mark's in Upland

Ymasumac Maranon, Bahai youth teacher, Upland

Rebecca Sobieski, fifth-grade teacher at Valencia Elementary, Upland

Mary Jo Wiedey, voice teacher at Claremont Community School of Music

Junyoung Patrick Park, son of Kyung Jin Park and Jung Ran Park of Upland, was selected as a member in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He will be honored in the fall at his school, Johns Hopkins University.
