Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to present Baha'i perspective

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold a sermon entitled "World Community: a Baha'i Perspective" at 1200 Linden Dr. in Jefferson City at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Columbia radio host for KOPN 89.5 FM Tyree Byndom will be the speaker. Byndom hosts "Kore Issues," a weekly call-in spiritual variety show that airs at 5 p.m. Fridays. In addition, spiritual-rap duo "Katalyzt," who also perform on the radio show, will appear Sunday during the sermon.

The Baha'i faith is similar to Unitarian Universalism in the study of the scripture from many religions. Baha'i differs in the predominant study of the sacred writing of its faith's founder, prophet Abdu'l-Baha.
