Hi, Dan

You ask some fairly open-ended questions, so the best I can do is give you some general pointers.

1) I don't know of a thorough list of articles on the Baha'i Faith in non-Baha'i journals. A small list is at http://bahai-library.com/books/rg/rg.citations.html#1 . I've written to another Baha'i scholar who I believe has compiled a more complete list. I'll let you know if or when I receive it.

2) If you're looking for articles in Baha'i journals, there are only four main Baha'i scholarly journals. First, the Journal of Baha'i Studies has some abstracts online, at http://bahai-studies.ca . But they're out of date -- I stopped working for this site two years ago, and the journal abstracts haven't been updated since. However, I did post most or all of the abstracts up till that time. Second, the Baha'i Studies Review has most abstracts and many full articles online. You can access this journal at http://bahai-library.com/bsr . Third, Baha'i Studies Bulletin is defunct and is not online at all. All I can offer is a list of contents, at http://bahai-library.com/resources/bsb.html . A fourth journal, World Order, is neither online nor are there any abstract lists online.

3) If you're looking for citations on specific topics, like Racism, check the Resource Guide for the Scholarly Study of the Baha'i Faith, online at http://bahai-library.com/books/rg (or click on link below). It also has a list of some citations on general social issues, at http://bahai-library.com/books/rg/rg.biblio17.html#63

4) Finally, I know that university libraries do have searchable, digital databases of sociology journals. I don't know the names, though. If you're still have trouble finding one, write to me directly and I'll put you in touch with a Baha'i sociologist who can answer your question.
