Your first paragraph contains an argument almost exactly the same as the one I have heard myself regurgitate on numerous occasions. And, that being the case, is of little help. However, in your second paragraph you at least touch upon the topic with which my question is concerned.

If it is the case that God has designated "purity and chastity" to be predominantly feminine virtues, what are His reasons for doing so? Are there any references in the Writings that you (or anyone else)know of that are able to clarify this point?
