The fact that the two volumes of the original of Nabil's Narrative have never been released outside of the Baha'i World Center even to scholars who have requested it, and we are left currently with only Shoghi Effendi's translation of the first volume (and it is highly edited), is a difficult pill to swallow for those of us attempting to understand the Baha'i Faith from all perpectives. Perhaps, though, scholars will be permitted to see it at the BWC when the Center for the Study and Preservation of the Sacred Texts is in full gear.
