yes you are absolutely right, we have to be careful not to get the Baha'i Faith mixed in with other extraneous subjects in the minds of the public. BUT this stance can be difficult for individual Baha'is who have inexplicable experiences that they want answers to but can't discuss it with Baha'is or turn to Baha'is for support etc for the fear of creating disreputable situations for themselves, their community or the faith in general.
I will though that fortunately Baha'is by and large are a fairly open-minded bunch.
