Interestingly, there are also passages where Baha'u'llah say Noah lived to be 900 years of age. The point is that this is not at all important. Baha'u'llah's writings are not scientific texts- they primarily are intended to convey spiritual meanings. We believe in Baha'u'llah because we are enthralled by the spiritual force of His Words. To nitpick at every phrase as being out of line with this or that scientific theory is really to miss the point.
