That suggests to me that it would be right to give the lady what she asked for, i.e. an extra 6 months life.

You are no more or less entitled to accept praise for this gift then you would for expression of a more accepted gift from God such as
mathematical ability or artistic achievement.

The way I see things, the powers of God flow through us even when we breathe, we are immersed in God's powers and essence all the time. Therefore any problems that people have with your activities are inevitably all mixed up with their own egos and insecurities and have little to do with the truth of the situation and nothing to do with God at all.
