If you add Jesus to Judaism, would what's left still count as Judaism? There are "messianic Jews" which struggle with this question. They think yes, other Jews think no (though they put up with Jews becoming Buddhists).
What if I say I'm the next prophet, after Baha'u'llah? (My religious name would be Grand Poo-Bah, or following Baha'i nomenclature, Pu'-Ba'.) Now you could bring up all kinds of objections from your writings, no doubt ("But it hasn't been a thousand years yet!"), which I could answer from the basis of my own revelation. Ultimately, what it would boil down to is, this just isn't part of your religion. Well, you're not part of my religion.
Actually, my religion isn't really *that* much a part of your religion either. I mean, what have you honestly absorbed from Christianity, other than the name of its founder? You're basically Moslems with a twist.
