Cloth, you have stated that you are a Baha'i, but you cannot be. Baha'is are, according to the Kitab-i-Aqdas, those who recognize the station of Baha'u'llah and follow every commandment laid down by Him. These are the two main qualifications, but they are inseperable and symbiotic. Part of these laws is the authorization of 'Abdu'l-Baha as Center of the Covenant, which gave him the primary authority to interpret the Word of God and to carry forward the formation of the Universal House of Justice. These ordinances are explicitly clear in the Aqdas. The Guardian was, in turn, made authoritative interpreter of the Word by the Master and continued the work of establishing the Universal House of Justice. To say that you are a Baha'i without allegience to the Universal House of Justice is like saying you are a Christian without alegience to Christ, or a Muslim without alegience to the Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon Him. I pray that your heart will be detached from these falicies so that you can honestly call yourself a Baha'i.
