No way. Not even close. Whenever I travel, I ask around for estimates of the local Baha'i population. The answers are always lower than the official number--and not by just a little bit off either, but typically by multiples of between four and ten. While we can never really know the "real number" (surveys won't usually work in this case), I'd estimate the worldwide Baha'i population to be about a million and a half. No idea whether you are growing, shrinking, or neither.

But you know what? That's okay. I mean, the Quakers never had more than a few hundred thousand members, and they're not only influential, but created a distinct culture and spirituality. Even without conquering the world!
