Though I don't know about feeding on blood (the Qur'an forbade eating it, though it also forbade pork, which the Baha'i Writings do not prohibit (some cultures eat animal blood)).
Baha'u'llah also forbade mortifications of the flesh:
"How many a man hath secluded himself in the climes of India, denied himself the things that God hath decreed as lawful, imposed upon himself austerities and mortifications, and hath not been remembered by God, the Revealer of Verses." (Kitáb-i-Aqdas, verse 36, at http://bahai-library.org/provisionals/aqdas/aqdas034-036.html )
The notes of this verse (prepared by the Universal House of Justice) indicate: "These verses constitute the prohibition of monasticism and asceticism." (as other Baha'i writings forbid).
