It has always been my understanding that Baha'u'llah was capable of miracles but chose not to perform them because it would confuse the faithful and create unnecessary suspicions about and fears of the Faith.
This was difficult for me to accept because if I were capable of miracles I would not hesitate to perform them. But I am not Baha'u'llah.
As time went on I began to understand the importance of not performing miracles. Watching televesion these days, whether the illusions of David Copperfield or the exceptional talent of John Edward, I know that should anyone authentically perform miracles, he or she would be joined to the dozens, if not hundreds, of entertainer mediums and illusionists in our society.
Jesus in his wisdom chooses not to return.
Baha'u'llah in his wisdom chose not to perform miracles.
I, in my wisdom and from my negative personal experiences, conceal my own minimalist paranormal abilities.
