My second wife was a satanist. She was believer in Satan and Satanic Worship and Satanic Rituals. For anyone to say it is wonderful to marry an unbeliever is missing a very important point. Granted the marriage to a Satanist is extreme stupidity and needs no explanation as to its dangers. But common unbelievers are also those who drink, smoke, swear, curse, hate, gossip, envy, lie, cheat and do not have pure sexual mores.
I think I am being lenient as far as North Americans are concerned. Now, if I should fall in love with one of these persons then, at the outset, is there something wrong with me or my needs? I think I shoujld question that seriously. Why would I choose this wretched unbeliever in the first place?

Now, if the unbeliever is the rare person who is fundamentally moral but happens to be an unbeliever-in-Baha'i, that is a different case entirely. The question: should one marry an unbeliever, as usual in this forum, is incomplete and misleading and would receive the usual vague and unhelpful answers.

I hope, by defining the question a little better I have also answered it a little better.
