Incidentally I might respond to the article I referenced - the world auxiliary language need not be the same as the one ultimately chosen as the ONLY language. In fact, it would seem better not to deal with that issue at the present time (except to the degree that we personally realize that losing living languages in the LONG term is not a bad thing), given that people are not ready for such a thing, and it might only raise further unnecessary objections as people might begin to perceive even a world AUXILIARY language as unduly impinging on diversity.
