Having read the excerpt referred to by Jamal, it is clear that the short translation is a guide to health, or preventive medicine, not a "healing system" but a health system. There is no specific healing system different from medicine in Baha'i Faith. Remember the emphasis Baha places on science. Therefore, no system is more scientific in today`s world except medicine. Of course, Bahaullah wishes that your actual physician call His Name before or during the administration of treatment. But that is not a healing system, and certainly not an alternative or esoteric healing method. Calling on Gods help`, or using prayer has been shown to be scientifically helpful in the treatment of the sick.
