Son of Man is another designation given to Jesus, which was spoken in the context of a "sp”te" or "mockery" to his persecutors. We are all the sons of men (and women). Being the Son of God is the proper designation for Jesus and the one which all Christians believe. Since he was a virgin birth, it is clear that he was not the son of any Man (a result of sexual intercourse)but the Son of God. In all the extant books of the New Testament there is no disagreement on this point.
