If it's of any use I've always believed that there in only one cause of the world's problems and that is PEOPLE. This is the case whether it's under the guise of religion, politics or whatever.
Religion in itself cannot be the cause of problems, it's only when power-mania, fanaticism and misinterpretion raise their heads that it goes wrong.
Therefore I would be very interested to learn of anything in the writings to that effect.
