Recently, a Baha'i friend on another board recounted a story that seems appropriate to this topic.

In the early days of the Faith in India, a man of Hindu backround converted to the Baha'i Faith but was not joined in his conversion by any of his family members. When he died, the local Baha'i community felt it important that he be given a Baha'i funeral, but the family wished to have him cremated in accordance with Hindu practice. The case eventually went to court and the Baha'is won.

Soon after this episode, Hand of the Cause Mr Faizi visited India and told the community- "Congratulations, you have won a dead body and alienated 1000 souls!"
