In some in Internet discussions, some people keep insisting that there are topics that Baha'i scholars are afraid to discuss, because of some actions and statements of the Universal House of Justice, including the removal of two people from membership, and the message about internal opposition. I've been working very hard to dispel that fear, but now I'm wondering if it really exists.

Are there really topics that Baha'i scholars avoid, for fear of what the Universal House of Justice will do?

I can see that there really are some risks in discussing women on the House of Justice, limits to the authority of the House of Justice, possible mistakes of Abdu'l-Baha and Shoghi Effendi, , and some other topics. A person might be branded as a Covenant breaker by other Baha'is, or even physically assaulted. What I want to know is, are there any Baha'i scholars who think that the House of Justice is opposed discussion of those topics?
