I was wondering whether anyone could help provide for me the original Persian translation and sense of the word or words translated as "fixed star", as used in translations such as Gleanings sec. 82 ( http://bahai-library.org/writings/bahaullah/gwb/082.html ) and Some Answered Questions, Chapter 26 ( http://bahai-library.org/writings/abdulbaha/saq/26.html ).

'Abdu'l-Bahá elsewhere demonstrates awareness that the stars' fixedness is only relative (e.g., http://www.bahai-library.org/books/div.phil/divine.philosophy.04.html#42 ), but I was wondering why the term "fixed star" was chosen in translation (rather than just "star"), as the at best redundant use of "fixed" may convey the false impression that He believed the stars were absolutely immobile. I understand that the word in Persian for star also can refer to planets, so I am guessing that is the reason, but if someone can confirm this for me, with a transliteration of the original words (particularly in Some Answered Questions), I would be most appreciative since it would be helpful in an outline I am presently working on.

thank you,
Brett Zamir
