To the best of my limited knowledge string theory is still pretty far out there and is not even accepted by some. However, studying it after a while it is a bit encouraging to see that the possible essence of all things is matter "waiting for the order" to be formed into whatever it may become. Baha'u'llah said that the "letters B and E have been joined and knit together" I think this is an allusion to creation in general. However it might also be that whatever is created is not created without the will of God, thus your "strings" spring into action and begin to form. You might find some more insight in the Tablet of Wisdom (lawl'i Hikmat) Baha'u'llah sums up the universe in a few sentences.
