Greetings.

We have postponed the Buddhism distance-learning course by one month. It will now run from June 1 to July 31, and registrations will be accepted through June 15. Please visit the website, http://www.usbnc.org/wilmette , for more information or to apply to the course.

Regarding this course, Dr. Robert Stockman noted that:

"The Buddhism course is, potentially, the most exciting course in this entire
series. Buddhism is, of all the major religions, the one most different
from the others, and most different from the Baha'i Faith as well. Most
Buddhist scholars regard it as non-theistic, i.e., a religion without God.
Obviosly it follows that it would be a religion without revelation as well,
and therefore without a concept of Manifestation. Reconciling such a
tradition with the Baha'i Faith is, needless to say, quite a challenge! We
hope you will join us in exploring ways the two traditions can be brought
together."
