Abstract:
A mystical vision about union with the beloved.
Notes:
See also a letter from the Universal House of Justice regarding this translation, as well as a note from the translator. This Tablet includes what I have described elsewhere as themes of mystic eroticism [J.W.].

Tablet of the Maiden (Lawh-i-Huriyyih)

by Bahá'u'lláh

translated by Juan Cole
1999
This item has been removed, due to the guidance from the Universal House of Justice that this translation is "far from adequate, to the point that it is quite misleading and could easily convey a wrong impression to those who study it" (see this letter from the Universal House of Justice). It can still be found elsewhere on the internet.

This webpage and URL have been retained, as many inbound links point to it, but marked "un-published" so it no longer appears in any indexes on this site. [-J.W., 2023]
