Abstract: Browne's famous account of his extended visit to Iran in 1887-1888; includes many references to Bábí and Bahá'í history and personages. Notes: Many Arabic and Persian terms changed to reflect modern transliteration schemes. It would be helpful to have a separate file consisting of just the sections of this book in which Browne refers to the Babis and the Bahá'ís.
