Biographies of Charles and Maria: from his birth in 1859, their introduction to the Faith in 1898, experiences with 'Abdu'l-Bahá in 1912, and four Tablets from 'Abdu'l-Bahá.
Part of the Baha'i History of the Family of Charles and Maria Ioas
Background:
I was a summer employee at the Bosch School in California 1978-1984. Early during that period - I think in 1979 - Monroe Ioas, a younger brother of the Hand of the Cause Leroy Ioas, during a visit to Bosch gave me this document prepared by himself and other members of the Ioas family. It is mentioned in the Foreword to Anita Ioas Carpenter's book Leroy Ioas - Hand of the Cause of God: "Many years ago two daughters of Charles and Maria Ioas, Marguerite Ullrich and Viola Tuttle, compiled their mother's memories of the experiences of the Ioas family with Abdu'l-Bahá in Chicago in 1912. This proved invaluable as family history. It was augmented in 1978 with help from the other three surviving siblings of Leroy Ioas: Monroe, Paul and Joseph." [Brent Poirier, 2017]
