1. Question from an individual

Are there any places in authorized Bahá'í writings in which the Bible reference to Armageddon (Revelation 16:16) is identified with either the town of Megiddo or with Mount Carmel, or generally with the Revelation of Bahá'u'lláh?

2. Reply from the Universal House of Justice, text

Dear Bahá'í Friend,

The Universal House of Justice has received your email letter of 16 January 2017 raising questions about Armageddon.

. . . Your question whether the Bahá'í writings identify the Biblical reference to Armageddon with the town of Megiddo, with Mount Carmel, or with the Revelation of Bahá'u'lláh generally, was referred to the Research Department at the World Centre. That Department has reported that to date no such references have been found in the Bahá'í writings.
