"Shoghi Effendi sincerely hopes that through these sacrifices that Edifice

will be completed and become a focal center for the spirit and Teachings of the

Cause in that land; that from it the light of guidance will spread and bring joy

and hope to the heart of this depressed humanity. If you will study the history of

Nabil, you will see how the Faith has been fed by the constant sacrifices of the

friends. Under hardships, persecutions and constant worries has the Message of

Baha'u'llah been established throughout the world." (To Miss Rachel Small,
