It is stranged as you repplied that "From the 18 Letters of the Living three of them had a rather regretful ending", but Shougi Afandi says in "The Dispensation of Bahaullah" translated in India as "TOKI-a-MUBARIK WALI AMER-ULLAH" PAGE 24,that "according to Bahaullah Letters of Livings of Hazrat Bab are ten thousand times respectable than past Prophets(letter to wesrent friends on May 23,1934).Can you imagine that the persons of that highest stage can be turn opposite??
