Abstract:
A contrast of the spiritual purpose of ‘Abdu'l-Bahá's first visit to Paris with the secular aims of some famous Iranian contemporaries who went there around the same time; includes philosophical discussions and an analysis of two talks by ‘Abdu'l-Bahá.
Notes:
Originally published as "‘Abdu’l-Bahá dar 'Anjuman-i-‘Álam'" in Erfan Sabeti (ed.), Á’ín-i-Bahá’í: Jámi‘ih, Síyásat (2020) (see Persian original).

Features several new provisional renderings of passages from ‘Abdu'l-Bahá's talks, translated directly from the original Persian in Khiṭábát, vol. 1. These excerpts, along with many other talks from that volume, were previously translated more loosely in Paris Talks. [-A.M. 2022]

Language: English and Persian.
