Abstract:
Comprehensive list of names and terms encountered in Bahá'í history, with transcription (accents, underlines and underdots), locations, word meanings, history and definitions.
Notes:
This glossary lists the Roman script transcription forms of many of the Arabic, Fársí, or Turkish words used in the Bahá’í Writings as a guide to their transcription. Additional root words have been added as a guide to an understanding of the meaning of the words.

See also a Guide to Transliteration and Pronunciation (M. Gail, 1957), a list of Oriental Words in Bahá'í Literature (Bahá'í World, 1986), Short Glossary of Bahá'í Terms (J. Winters, 2010), Glossary of Arabic and Persian terms (at Bahaipedia, off-site), and an audio Bahá'í Pronunciation Guide (A. Banani, 1967).

Also available in Microsoft Word format.
